Condolence: My condolences on your loss. By coincidence I was sorting through boxes in the back room the week he passed away and ran across his letter thanking me for recommending tart cherry juice concentrate for his arthritis. I hope it improved his quality of life for the last 15 years.

Condolence From: Hinda (Winer
Condolence: This is from your second cousin Hinda in Israel, Eunice Brunell Winer's daughter. My mother always spoke very fondly of her cousin Miltie. I'm sorry I never met him and only have family photos as a little girl. Fortunately I did have the opportunity of a few phone calls this past year before the Brunell reunion in Worcester this summer. We had all hoped you would come but it was not to be. I know he wasn't happy with the movie "Jory" but I keep a copy of it on my computer! Remember you all have a very extended family here in Israel and hope to met some of you one day.

Condolence From: Wayne & Cheryl Meunier
Condolence: Dear Ruthie and all other family of Milton,
I send my deepest condolences on your loss. When Cheryl called me to tell me that Milt passed I was speechless for a few moments and she asked if I was still on the line? I had paused to reflect that I had enjoyed his columns and viewpoint for longer than I had known you and Michael, Alyssa and Amy. When we visited for your milestone B-day in August, I commented to Cheryl that Milt had physically declined but he still had a sharp mind and opinions.
Take some comfort in knowing that your friends and his care and share in your bereavement. Milt's legacy will not be forgotten. His writing prowess, and his dedication to his family will live on for many, many years. Enjoy the good memories you have of times you've spent with him. I know there will be special moments that occur that will remind you of Milton and cause you to smile. I wish you strength in this difficult time.
I am in Fort Myers right now and regret not being there to personally comfort you.
