Obituary for Mario A. Panetti

MARIO ANTHONY PANETTI, 58, of 130 Mill Street, Lee, died Friday, June 12, at his home.
Born in Pittsfield, May 24, 1951, a son of Alma R. Winnard Panetti and the late Mairo L. Panetti, he was educated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grammar School, South Junior High School, and Pittsfield High School.
He served with the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War.
Mr. Panetti had at one time worked as an auto body mechanic for Dick Joseph Auto Body. He had also been a deliveryman for The Berkshire Eagle.
He had been a communicant of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where in earlier years he served as an altar boy.
He enjoyed NHRA racing, reading, watching the History Channel and A&E, and also enjoyed working on mechanical engines.
Besides his mother of Lenox, Mr. Panetti is survived by two sons, Jason M.
Panetti and his wife, Lisa, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Dale M. Panetti of
Allentown, New Hampshire; a brother, Mark W. Panetti and his wife, Dr. Tracee
Panetti, of Marlton, New Jersey; two sisters, Patricia A. Plankey of Blackstone,
Massachusetts, and Joanne M. O'Brien, and her husband, Michael, of Lee; a grandson,
Mathias Panetti; two nephews, two nieces, two great nieces, and aunts, uncles, and
cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for MARIO ANTHONY PANETTI, who died Friday, June 12, will be Friday, June 19, at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church celebrated
by Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, C.S.S. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in
St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 18, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
at DERY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr.
Panetti may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
