Mrs. Linda Ann Plant, 62, of Dalton, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with Ovarian cancer. She was born in Pittsfield on June 27 1957, the daughter of the late Carl Rayner and the late Bernice (Croughwell) Squires. She was educated in Dalton and Lenox schools.

Linda was primarily a homemaker but worked many years as a frame technician at Miller's Art Supply and Michael's Craft store. She was extremely talented when it came to Arts & crafts. She loved wreath making, stained glass and painting with Michelle at Berkshire Paint & Sip. She made out of this world costumes and decorations for every occasion. She often donated her work to benefits and charity events to help support others. She was by far the most giving person we've ever known. She also loved the beach, reading, bird watching, coming up with the next great design to remodel our home, Linda always had a project or idea in her head. She enjoyed car rides to see the Berkshires, day trips to Salem, and relaxing in her beautiful gardens that she and her husband spent years building together. Most of all she loved doing all of these things with & for her family, especially her grandchildren. she was completely selfless and truly admired by many.

Linda is survived by her husband: David Plant, whom she married on August 31,1984, her two daughters: Kellie Plant ( Nancy Bertoldi) of Dalton, MA and Heidi-Lyn Plant (Brian Schultz) of Richmond, MA, her two sons: Robert Plant and his wife Chris of Peru, MA, and Scott Plant and his wife Kate of Otis, MA; five grandchildren: Bayleigh MacHaffie (Lockwood Ray) of Kannapolis NC, Shaylynn MacHaffie of Las Vegas, NV, Alexander Schultz, Avionna Schultz of Richmond MA, and Alexandria Schultz of Lee, MA; her sisters: Colleen Pirzl and her husband Herbie of Lanesborough MA, Jeanie Rist of Pittsfield; Patty Pierce of Hinsdale MA, and Donna Vanasse and her husband Jeff of Cummington MA, her brother: Steve Tatro of Pittsfield; and several nieces, nephews and all of her fur babies. Linda was predeceased by her Loving Grandmother (Nana) Anna (Fitch) Croughwell
