The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Godfrey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: DEAR PAM, SO sorry to hear that JOHN has passed away. I admire his strength, courage and perseverance in his fight against Parkinsons. I will aways remember the 4th of July picnics and his comment "when are playing cards?" John's name always comes up when playing cards with Champ and Lorilyn. May peace be with you and John.

Condolence: Dear Pam & family, So sorry for your loss. John was a sweetheart and I will miss him very much. My favorite time with him was on third Thursdays Card Parties at the Senior Center, we played against each other and I would always tease him and pretend to write on his hand (which sometimes I would) he would just give me a big smile and a grin that said go ahead I dare you. So John rest in peace my dear friend I will never forget you. Love ya
