Michael Auger

Dear Poplsaki Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Fred. He was a great man that I had the fortune of working with him at Byron Weston from 1985-1997. Fred was one of my biggest supporters in trying to supervise a very important department at Cranes Paper. He was very smart and had a passion to do things better and make the highest quality pulp possible. I always looked forward to him asking me to have a coffee with him every morning. During our coffee break we would talk about everything from work, current affairs, our nation and of course his and mines lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His real passion was with Jesus and I really enjoyed some deep discussions and which helped in developing my faith. It was 1997 since I last saw Fred but every time I came home from North Carolina I wanted to search him out but never connected. I am sorry I did not. I have been working now for some 42 years and have had hundreds of people work for me but Fred is one of the stand outs! My fond memories of our time working together and what he gave to me will always be close to my heart. I know David real well and most of the rest of the family too. I hope you all try to continue on his legacy. I love you Fred and Thank You! Sincerely, Mike Auger
