Condolence: As a young married woman, new to Pittsfield, I met Dorothy while working at a local bank in Pittsfield. I immediately fell in love with this gentle, caring woman. She took me under her wing, as a Mother would, since I lived so far away from my own mother. We remained friends during the birth of my two sons, and even after my husband's job relocated us to Maryland. I have thought of her often throughout the years. I am deeply saddened by her death, but I know we will meet again in our heavenly Father's home. God Bless you my sweet Dorothy. Blessings to her grieving family. Karen Allen

Condolence: Faisal, Lisa and families. So sorry to hear of your loss. I grew up on Alden Ave in the 50s, 60s and early 70s and will never forget how nice your entire family was. Your mother, father, and sister Margaret were so friendly. Whenever I travel back to Pittsfield to visit my family I always stop in to one of Angelina's Sub Shops. It always brings back great memories and the subs are one of kind. I remember your father back in the day would often walk back and forth from Angelina's to/from Alden Ave and always greeted neighbors young and old with a wave, smile and hello.
