The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alfred Shogry can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: To the Shogry Family,

Al was one of the good guys. Always had time for a conversation and did some impressive home remodeling to boot. His son, Freddie was a good friend & fellow radio operator. I used to stop & chat with Al over at the union hall as I too worked for GE. He was a very decent man and even though he is no longer with us, find comfort in knowing that he left a very big footprint. Prayers offered.

Condolence: My Uncle Freddy was a great and loving man. He was one of my mentors. He was highly intelligent and industrious. He was a wonderful husband, father, uncle and friend. He had an amazing sense of humor. I will fondly remember the great times that we had throughout the Berkshires and Capital District. I shall miss him a lot.
