Obituary for Zina R. Delmolino

Zina Rosa Delmolino, 87, of 115 Main Street, Cheshire, died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at her home
surrounded by her family.
Born in Postalesio, Province of Sondrio, Italy on March 5, 1927, the daughter of Azzo A. and
Clementina Sondrini Betolatti, she was educated in Postalesio and came to the United States in October
1951, settling in Cheshire.
Mrs. Delmolino was employed by the Adams Supermarket and then Big Y Supermarket in the
produce and meat departments. She also did housekeeping.
Mrs. Delmolino was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire where she was very involved.
She enjoyed gardening and cooking, and outings with family and friends.
Her husband, Aldo Delmolino, whom she married October 20, 1951, in San Antonio Church in
Postalesio, died May 30, 2012.
Mrs. Delmolino is survived by two sons, Paul D. Delmolino of Sarasota, Florida, and Steven A.
Delmolino and his wife, Bonnie J. Delmolino, of Adams; two brothers, Ugo Betolatti and Reno Betolatti,
both of Italy; two sisters, Sylvia Bagiotti and Sister Irma (Sr. Adelaide) Betolatti, both of Italy; a granddaughter, Erin, and two great grandchildren, Chiara and Jaida Rose; and her longtime friend,
Bonnie T. Delmolino.
She was pre-deceased by a sister, Elsa Dalone of Italy, and a brother, infant Giovanni Betolatti.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Nurse Carmen, as well as to Rheann, Billie-Jo, and
Jeri of Hospice Services of Western Massachusetts for their care and kindness.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Zina Rosa Delmolino will be held Friday, August 1. at 10:00 a.m., with a
Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Church celebrated by Rev. David R. Raymond, Pastor. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chiara and Jaida Rose Education Fund to be established at Adams Community Bank. The DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of
arrangements.
