Obituary for William J. Pilot III

William J. Pilot, III, 52, of 10 Keeler Street, Pittsfield died Thursday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born on February 6, 1956 in Pittsfield he was a son of the late William J. Pilot Jr. and the late Esther Tsepas Pilot. He had resided in Pittsfield for the past twelve years and prior to that had resided in Cheshire for many years. He was educated in Lanesboro schools and was a 1974 graduate of Mt. Greylock Regional High School. He also served in the National Guard at one time. At the time of his death he was employed at ProTech Armour in Pittsfield were he had worked for the past 4 � years. Prior to that he had worked as a mover for Mullen Mayflower and Castine Movers. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and the New York Yankees. He also had a love for animals. He leaves his companion of many years, Regina E. Parise of Pittsfield and his daughter, Heather L. Scott of Peru. A brother, Steven J. Pilot of Lowell, MA and three sisters; Margaret S. Pilot of Cheshire, Cathy Ann Pilot of Pittsfield and Alexa Fortner of Readsboro, VT. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for William J. Pilot III, 52, of Pittsfield who died July 3, 2008 will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME conducted by the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel in Lanesboro. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday prior to the funeral from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorial donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or to the Eleanor Sonsini Municipal Animal Shelter both in care of the Dery Funeral Home, North State Rd. Cheshire, MA 01225.
