Obituary for William D. Paterson

William D.  Paterson
Robert D. Paterson, 45, of Pittsfield, died unexpectedly at home on June 24, 2017. He was born in Pittsfield on March 23, 1972, the son of the late John D. and Deborah A. (Connors) Paterson. He was educated in local schools and was a 1990 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Robert was a self-employed landscaper who at one time owned his own business; “Green & Clean Property Maintenance.” He enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. He was also a very handy person.
He is survived by his mother; Deborah A. Paterson of Pittsfield; his son; Robert D. Paterson Jr. of Pittsfield, his brother; Jeffrey D. Paterson of Lanesboro, MA; his maternal grandmother; Rita M. Connors of Lenox; his Uncle; James H. Connors III of New Lebanon, N.Y.; his Aunts; Rosemary T. Altobelli and her husband Dr. David Altobelli of Nashua, N.H.; Colleen F. Munson of Clarksburg, Marie Paterson of Pittsfield and Bonnie Britigan; his former wife Dawn E. Paterson and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by his father; John D. Paterson; his maternal grandfather; James H. Connors Jr.; and his Uncle William Paterson.


Funeral Notice – Funeral Services for Robert D. Paterson, 45, who died June 24, 2017 will be held Thursday July 6, 2017 at 11a.m at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54
BRADFORD ST., PITTSFIELD., celebrated by Rev. Charles Young, Chaplin of Hospicecare in the Berkshires. Burial will follow at Pittsfield Cemetery. A Calling hour will be held prior to the service beginning at 10a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert’s memory can be made to the Brien Center or Soldier On in care of the funeral home.
