Obituary for William F. Lennon Jr.

William Francis Lennon, Jr. 77, of 15 Lakewood Circle, Pittsfield, Ma. died Friday evening at his home.
Born on June 27, 1930 in Pittsfield and son of the late William F. Lennon Sr. and Mary Cook Lennon. He was a graduate of the former Dalton High School.
Mr. Lennon was a veteran of the Korean War and had served with both the US Army and US Navy. Mr. Lennon was employed for the United States Postal Service in Pittsfield as a letter carrier for 30 years retiring in 1985. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, reading, playing cards and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He leaves his wife the former Joan Patti whom he married February 23, 1954. Besides his wife he leaves three daughters, Kyle P. O'Brien of Lanesboro, Ma., Kerry M. Bourassa of Pittsfield, Ma. and Kathleen M. Johnson of Becket, Ma. Four sons, Kevin P. Lennon of Lanesboro, Ma. Shaun P. Lennon of Washington, Ma., William M. Lennon and Brian A. Lennon both of Pittsfield, Ma. A Brother, Phillip J. Lennon of Dalton, Ma. 16 Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for William F. Lennon, Jr. who died November 2, 2007 will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, Ma. with Rev. Mr. William G. Moesley, deacon of Saint Charles Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
