Obituary for William J. Kimber

William Joseph Kimber, 62, of 190 Cadwell Road, Pittsfield, died Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on August 20, 1954, son of William H. and Irene Maffuccio Kimber,
he was a 1972 graduate of Taconic High School.
A machinist by trade, Mr. Kimber had been employed by General Electric
Company, he had also worked for Beloit Corporation, J & J Custom, and Crawford's Garage.
Mr. Kimber was a communicant of St. Mark Church where he volunteered with their
Dinners and bingo. He also volunteered with Meals On Wheels.
He enjoyed his cars.
Mr. Kimber leaves his wife, the former Marie M. St. Pierre, whom he married December
21, 199l.
He is also survived by two daughters, Michelle Trumble and her companion, Bradley Dobbs, of Philadelphia, N.Y., and Amanda Doxtater and her husband, Dirk, of Antwerp, N.Y.;
two sons, Matthew Chappell of Pittsfield and Jeremy Kimber of Pittsfield; two sisters, Florence
Dodge and her husband, Robert, of Windsor, and Ann Marie Morris and her husband, Robert, of
Pittsfield; a brother, Robert Kimber and his wife, Jean, of Pittsfield; and his aunt, Carolyn S. Kimber of Pittsfield; as well as six grandchildren, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Kenneth, Autumn, Summer,
and Bradley; and his dogs, Jak and Abby.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for William Joseph Kimber will be held Thursday, December 1, at 9:15
from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mark Church
celebrated by Rev. David E. Aufiero, Administrator. Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 4:00
to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
Friends of Renal Dialysis in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
