Obituary for William Constantopoulos

William Constantopoulos, 55, of 10 Union Street, Apt. 202, Pittsfield, Ma. died Friday, October 3, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 27, 1959 in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada a son of the Sophia Nikolis Constantopoulos and the late Peter Constantopoulos. He attended schools in Lee, Ma. and was a 1977 graduate of Lee High School where he played soccer for all four years and onetime scored 13 goals in two games. He had attended Berkshire Community College. He had worked as a restaurateur and had worked for the family restaurant and also owned and operated his own restaurants in Lee, Pittsfield and in Arizona known as Bill's Restaurant. He enjoyed the game of soccer and also enjoyed coaching kids in the game of soccer. He also enjoyed making people his famous paper roses. He had been a volunteer at Peter Pan Bus Lines in Pittsfield.
He is survived by his mother Sophia Constantopoulos of Lee, Ma. Two sons, Jamie Constantopoulos of Tennessee and Peter Constantopoulos of Pittsfield. A daughter, Eleni Constantopoulos of Arizona. A Brother, Chris Constantopoulos and his wife Elizabeth of Lee, Ma. Two sisters, Jane LaGrant of Lee, Ma. and Maria Newman and her husband Peter of Lanesboro, Ma. Three nephews, Panayiotis Constantopoulos, Paul Boutiette and Shane LaGrant.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, Fenn St. in Pittsfield with the Rev. Alfred L. Johnson, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in Fairmont Cemetery, Lee, Ma.
Calling hours at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory may be made to PAN MASS CHALLENGE/JIMMY FUND in care of the funeral home.
