Obituary for Willaim C. Victor

William C. Victor, 71, of 534 South Street passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Berkshire Medical Center. Born on September 2, 1945 in Pittsfield, he was the son of the late Casimir and Eleanor Gogan Victor. A longtime Pittsfield resident, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1963 graduate of Pittsfield High School. He then went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from the former North Adams State College in mathematics. He was employed for over twenty-five years in sales and marketing at General Electric. He had also worked part time at Cranwell resort in Lenox. He retired in 1998. He was a communicant of St. Mark Church and a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners Clubs. He was active with the Town Players and enjoyed Broadway shows and musicals. He also enjoyed fishing and cooking. He leaves two sons; Jeffrey M. Victor of Key West, FL and Christian T. Victor of California. He also leaves his former wife; Mandy Victor of Great Barrington.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for William C. Victor of Pittsfield who passed away October 14, 2016 will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the DERY FUNERAL HOME in PITTSFIELD conducted by the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel in Lanesboro. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
