Obituary for Wendell P. Webber

Wendell P. Webber, Jr., 81, of 15 Grace Terrace, Pittsfield, MA died Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Hardwick, Vermont, on February 11, 1931, the son of Wendell P. Webber
Sr., and Mae Jackson Webber, he was educated in Vermont schools, was a 1949 graduate of Spaulding High School in Barre, Vermont, and attended Northeastern University.
A World War II and Korean War veteran, he served with the United States Navy
from 1942 to 1952.
Mr. Webber worked as a Dental Sales representative for Smith Holden out of Springfield, MA from where he retired in 1996 with 43 years service.
He was a member of the Lee Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed watching the New
England Patriots and reading.
Most of all, Mr. Webber enjoyed being with family in Pittsfield and at his lake
side cottage in Maine, and researching his family genealogy.
Mr. Webber leaves his wife, the former Elizabeth Harrington, whom he married
May 2, 1954.
He is also survived by a daughter, Lynn Webber Latini of Pittsfield, MA; two sons, David Webber and his wife, Theresa, of Ellington, Connecticut, and Mark Webber and his wife, Sandra, of Sheffield, MA; five grandchildren, Benjamin Latini, Audrey Webber, Ryan Webber, Brandon Webber, and Alexandra Cressey; as well as a sister, Mary Kershaw of Raleigh, North Carolina, and a nephew, Scott Kershaw.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Wendell P. Webber, Jr. will be held Sunday, December 23, from
4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Webber may be made to Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
