Obituary for Wayne "Chris" Tassone

Wayne "Christopher" Tassone, 41, of 18 Jennifer Drive, Fairfield, Virginia died
Saturday while working, after suffering from apparent heart failure. A Pittsfield native, he was born on June 6, 1974 in Pittsfield, the son of Shaun F. Tassone of Adams and Tamara Stimpson Hunt of Pittsfield. He was educated in Pittsfield schools and had been working in Virginia as a truck driver for Big Truck Tire & Repair and Elite Diesel. While in Pittsfield he was a self-employed painter and taper for many years. Chris enjoyed watching NFL Football and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed cooking. He loved his children and grandchildren and his family was most important to him. He leaves his mother, Tammy Hunt and her significant other Charles of Pittsfield, and his father, Shaun F. Tassone of Adams. Five daughters; Jordan Tassone of Pittsfield, Sierra Tassone of Pittsfield, Krysta Tassone of Adams, and twin daughters; Brittani and Brianna Tassone of Adams. Two brothers; Nathan Hunt and his significant other Elizabeth Pease of Pittsfield and Aaron Tassone of Adams. A sister; Angela Tassone of Adams and two grandsons; Caiden and Nolan Tassone. He also leaves his fiancé, Shannon Schofield of Fairfield, Virginia and his maternal grandmother; Joyce McKinnon of Pittsfield and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Celebration of Life for Wayne "Christopher" Tassone who died December 26, 2015 will be held Friday at 6PM at the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield conducted by the Rev. Russell Moody of Pittsfield Church of Christ. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 6PM prior to the service. Memorial donations in memory of Chris may be made to the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 to help the family with funeral expenses.
