Obituary for Wayne Rennie

Wayne  Rennie
Wayne Rennie, 46, of 30 Mountain View Terrace passed away at home on May 19, 2017. Born on June 26, 1970 in Germany, he was the son of the late Russell and Christiana Schultz Rennie. He was educated in Pittsfield and Dalton schools and was a 1988 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School. He also attended Berkshire Community College. Wayne was employed as a machine tender at International Housewares in Pittsfield and Chicopee for thirty years. He had also worked at one time as a shipping and receiving clerk at Pine Cone Hill. An avid outdoorsman, Wayne was a member of the NRA and the Lenox Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working with bees, stained glass making and following the New England Patriots. He leaves his wife; Melissa Olsted Rennie of Dalton whom he married on August 28, 2010 in Dalton. Two step-daughters; Amanda L. Rock of Washington and Katie L. St. John of Harrisonburg, Virginia. A step-son; Dion St. John and his wife Carrie of Pittsfield. Three grandsons; Owen Orcutt, Evan Orcutt and James St. John. He also leaves his three brothers; William Rennie and his significant other; Linda Swiers of Pittsfield, Robert Rennie of the State of Florida and James Rennie of the State of South Dakota as well as his father-in-law; Richard Olsted of Dalton and two nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Graveside Service for Wayne Rennie who passed away May 19, 2017 will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in Ashuelot Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Dakin Humane Society in care of the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 which is handling arrangements.
