Obituary for Wava M. Henault

Wava M. Henault, 89, of Providence Court, and a longtime resident of Pittsfield, died Monday, February 16, 2015, at Mount Greylock Extended Care, where she had resided since December.
Born in Pittsfield on December 31, 1925, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Anna Provost Coty, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1944 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Henault was a homemaker. She had, at one time, worked for Eaton Paper Company, the Berkshire Street Railway, and Berkshire Center for Families and Children.
She retired in 1982.
She was a communicant of St Joseph Church and had been a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church.
Being with family and her grandchildren brought her great joy. She also enjoyed
knitting and crocheting, cake decorating, playing cards, and she was an avid Red Sox fan.
Her husband, Hector Ernest Henault, whom she married September 28, 1946, in Notre
Dame Church, died January 10, 2004.
Mrs. Henault is survived by four sons, Raymond R. Henault and his wife, Maureen, of
Pittsfield, Dennis W. Henault of Phoenix, Arizona, Jeffrey W. Henault and his significant other
Deanna Mayotte of Dalton, and Jack R. Henault and his wife, Katie, of Cheshire; five grandchildren, Renee Cantwell, Michelle Daries, Michael Henault, Jack Henault, and Brett
Henault, and five great grandchildren, Kali Daries, Matthew Daries, Ryan Daries, Delaney Cantwell, and Joseph Henault; as well as two sisters, Theresa Fitzgerald of Hubbardston, Mass., and Rita Brower of Hubbardston, Mass.
She was pre-deceased by a brother, Joseph Coty, late of Pittsfield, and by a daughter-in-
law, Helena Henault.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Wava M. Henault will be held Friday, February 20, at 8:15 a.m., from
DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
