Warren Richard Carmon, 72, of Dalton, passed away January 27, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on July 10, 1948, he was the son of Warren A. and Stella Peggy Borkowski Carmon.
A 1966 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School, he then went on to Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts, where he received his Associate’s degree in Arboriculture and Park Management in 1969.
Mr. Carmon was a United States Marine Veteran, having served from 1969 to 1971.
Warren was married to Betsy Carchedi, who predeceased him on November 6, 2020.
He was employed as a warehouse worker for Farmer’s Exchange in Framingham, MA. He also had worked at General Electric in building and grounds maintenance, and for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management, where he was a forestry laborer. Mr. Carmon also was employed at one time at Beloit-Jones as a shipping and receiving clerk.
He is survived by his caregiver, Melissa (Missi) Leavy, step-sons, Domenic and Anthony Carchedi, nephew, Tunde Labiran, nieces, Tolu and Marian Labiran, sister, Renee Carmon and his beloved dog, Zeus. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Cheryl Sawyer.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services will be held, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashuelot Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 E. Main St, Dalton is handling the arrangements.
