Obituary for Wallace Crouse, Jr.
Wallace Earl Crouse, Jr., 68 of Cheshire, MA passed away July 9, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Adams, MA on May 2, 1954 to Dorothy Montgomery Crouse and the late Wallace E. Crouse Sr.
Wallace was educated in Adams schools and was a 1973 graduate of Hoosac Valley High School.
He married the former Nancy D. Cote on August 5, 1978 at St. Francis Church in North Adams.
Mr. Crouse worked for Western Mass Electric Company from 1988 to 2016.
Wally was a gentle, kind, and loving soul who loved camping, bowling, trains, and going to races at Lebanon Valley. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, who adored his dogs.
Besides his mother Dorothy, Mr. Crouse is survived by Nancy D. Crouse, his beloved wife of 44 years; his children, Travis W. Crouse his wife Shannon, Wallace E. Crouse III, his wife Becky, and Mallory L. Crouse and fiancée, Brad Morawski; brother Robert Crouse, his wife Laurie, and a sister, Donna Blanchard and husband Richard, and many other family and friends. His greatest joy was being Papa to his five grandchildren, Madison, Keegan, Colbie, Hadley and Carrigan.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services for Mr. Crouse will be held, FRIDAY, July 15, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Cheshire Cemetery, celebrated by Rev. William Furey. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, 121 N. State Rd, Cheshire. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to Pop Cares in care of the funeral home PO BOX 445, Cheshire.
