Obituary for Vivian M. DeAngelus

VIVIAN L. DeANGELUS, 79, of 2333 Royal Palm Drive, N.E., Palm Bay,
Florida, formerly of Dalton, died Sunday, August 2, at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy while summering in New York state.
Born in Pownal, Vermont, November 19, 1929, the daughter of Mr. Shirley and Mary Chaulifoux Lanphear, she was a graduate of Vermont schools.
Mrs. DeAngelus was employed as a telephone operator for New England Tele- phone for many years, and then went to work for American Telephone and Telegraph. She retired in 1987.
She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church.
She enjoyed traveling.
Her husband, Archie J. DeAngelus, whom she married December 9, 1984, died August 3, 2001.
Mrs. DeAngelus is survived by two daughters, Sandra L. Maloney and her
husband, Thomas, of Fort Myers, Florida, and Joanne K. Wood and her husband, Charles,
of Palm Bay, Florida; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-
law, Patricia Elser of Dalton.
She was pre-deceased by a son, Donn C. Elser, Jr., who died September 4, 2007.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for VIVIAN L. DeANGELUS, who died Sunday, August 2, will
be Monday, August 10, at 11:00 a.m., at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton,
with Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, Pastor of St. Agnes Church, officiating. Burial will
follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers,
contributions in memory of Mrs. DeAngelus may be made to the American Cancer
Society in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
