Obituary for Victoria M. Rogers

VICTORIA MARIE ROGERS, 57, of 10 August Smith Road, Peru, died Tuesday morning at her home.
Born in Newton, Massachusetts, January 22, 1949, a daughter of Nicholas and
Marie Duquette Raymond, she was educated in Arizona schools and was a graduate of
Scottsdale (Arizona) High School and Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona.
She resided in Arizona for many years before moving to Pittsfield two years and
then moving to Peru a month ago.
Mrs. Rogers was employed by Girls, Inc., as a teacher's assistant for the past two
years. While living in Arizona and in Colorado, she was a special education teacher's
assistant for handicapped children.
She leaves her husband, Harry H. Rogers, whom she married June 16, 1984. Besides her husband, Mrs. Rogers is survived by three daughters, Becky Rickard of Peru, Marla Temple of Pittsfield, and Jamie L. Rickard of Chicopee;
three brothers, Raymond Raymond of Haleiwa, Hawaii, Richard Duquette and Kingman,
Arizona, and Robert Raymond of Kingman, Arizona; a sister, Maryanne Martin of
Phoenix, Arizona, and two grandchildren.


FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for VICTORIA M. ROGERS, who died Tuesday, August 1,
will be held Monday, August 7, at 12:00 noon at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME,with Rev. Mr. Pasqual Baldasaro, Deacon of St. Agnes Church, officiating.Calling hours will be on Monday, from 11:00 to 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rogers also leaves her sons-in-law, Greg Temple and Dan Yon, and her
two grandchildren, McKenna Temple and Ali Temple.
Vikki's favorite things in life were her family.
Her best times were spent playing with her grandbabies, fishing and spending precious
time with her three daughters, Becky, Marla, and Jamie, and her loving husband, Harry.
Nothing meant more to her than family and she will be missed dearly.
