Obituary for Vicki Murdock
Vicki Lynn Murdock passed away unexpectedly at her home in Pittsfield, Ma on April 3, 2022. She was 66 years old.
She was born on June 17, 1955. Vicki was a 1973 graduate of Taconic High School and went on to attend John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, where she graduated with a BA degree in Criminal Justice. She spent over 25 years living in Northern Virginia where she worked in the banking industry, before moving back to the Berkshires to care for her mother.
Vicki was an avid movie enthusiast, loved many genres of music, especially the Beatles and was a fierce Yankees fan. She was a loyal and true friend, who never hesitated to lend a hand. She loved the Outer Banks and found solace by the sea. She will truly be missed.
Vicki is survived by her five siblings, Richard Murdock (Lana) of Trinity, Florida, Steven Murdock (Kimberly) of Pittsfield, Jeffrey Murdock (Pablo) of Danby, Vermont, Michael Murdock (Storme) of Pittsfield and Barry Murdock (Ernie) of Bainbridge, New York. She also leaves behind 13 nieces/nephews and 17 grandnieces/nephews and her best friends Bonnie and Rick Regan of Fairfax, VA. Vicki was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Murdock and her father, Richard Murdock.
At the request of the family, services will be private. Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
