Obituary for Vera Smith
Vera Norbury Smith, 91 of Dalton, MA, passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2023.
Born in Northamptonshire, England on March 1, 1932, she was the daughter of Arthur and Rosemary Norbury Lack.
Her husband, John F. Smith, predeceased her in 1969.
Vera was a seamstress for over 25 years at England Brothers, Steigers, Filenes, and Macys.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen and Robert Walsh of Dalton, Lisa Smith of Dalton, and Robert and Theresa Smith of Agawam.
Per her wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of Dery-Foley Funeral Home, 890 E. Main St, Dalton MA 01226.
