Obituary for Tommy R. Windoloski

Tommy R. Windoloski, 45, of 74 East Windsor Road in Peru passed away peacefully Sunday at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. A native of Chicopee, he was born on April 19, 1971 in Springfield, a son of Dorothy Birge Windoloski and the late Raymond T. Windoloski Jr. He was educated in Chicopee schools and had been employed for the past fifteen years as the head baker at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He enjoyed baking, bowling, camping, gardening and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved making sure everyone had enough to eat. Besides his mother of Chicopee, he leaves his wife, Kimberely Bennett Windoloski of Peru. Two sons; Anthony Windoloski and his significant other; Jennifer of Ludlow and Nichlaus Bennett and his significant other Brandi of Pittsfield. Three brothers; James, Albert and Michael and two sisters; Elaine and Andrea. He also leaves his three grandchildren; Bryon, Alisheahna and Jaycee as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Tommy R. Windoloski of Peru who passed away April 9, 2017 will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton conducted by the Rev. Jennifer Kimball, pastor of First Congregational Church of Hinsdale. Burial will take place later in the spring in Center Cemetery in Peru. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home in Dalton. Memorial donations in memory of Tommy may be made to the BMC Cancer Research Center in care of the funeral home, 890 Main Street, Dalton, MA 01226.
