Obituary for Tinette N. Rocca
Tinette N. Rocca, 97, of 245 Francis Avenue died Monday at Hillcrest Commons where she had resided since 2011. Born on December 9, 1917 in Pittsfield, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Bolotin. A longtime Pittsfield resident, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1935 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She married her husband, the late Francis A. Rocca Sr. in 1946. He died in 1998. A homemaker, she had worked at one time at the former Eaton paper Company as an assembler. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed baking and raising her family. She leaves two sons; Michael F. Rocca and his wife Denise of Pittsfield and Ramon G. Rocca of Pittsfield. Three daughters; Cheryl C. Rocca of Pittsfield, Marilyn H. Coe of Tampa, FL and Charlotte A. Baldwin of Redlands, CA. She also leaves her seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
FUNERAL NOTICE: At Tinette's request there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will take place at a later date in Pittsfield Cemetery. The DERY FUNERAL HOME is handling arrangements.
