Obituary for Steven T. White

Steven T. White, 59, of Boston, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. A former longtime resident of Pittsfield and Lenox, he was born in Pittsfield on July 30, 1957, a son of Orville and Irene Plankey White of Lanesboro. He was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1975 graduate of Taconic High School. He also attended technical school in Boston. Steve was employed for twenty years as a field tech engineer with Alcatel based in Dallas, TX. He had also worked at one time at the former Schweitzer-Mauduit Paper Mill in Lee. He was a former communicant of St. Ann Church in Lenox. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and following the Red Sox and Patriots. He leaves his parents: Orville and Irene White of Lanesboro. A son; Randy S. White of Lenox and a daughter; Erica I. White of Becket. Three sisters; Cathy White, Lori May and Sharon Gilmore, all of Pittsfield. Three brothers; Ronald W. White and Joseph A. White, both of Pittsfield and Kenneth D. White of Washington D.C. He also leaves his grandson; Ryder P. Winters of Becket, his former wife; Nina Kisluk of Cheshire, CT and many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Steven T. White who passed away February 26, 2017 will be held Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the DERY FUENARL HOME in Pittsfield. Funeral services and burial will be private. Memorial donations in memory of Steven may be made to the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 to help his family with funeral expenses.
