Obituary for Steven Paul Stroehlin
Steven Paul Stroehlin, 61, of 6 Bena Street, Lanesborough, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at his home.
Born in Pittsfield on January 3, 1951, a son of Richard E. and Barbara J. Girard
Stroehlin, he was educated in Lanesborough schools and continued his education in
Boston colleges. Mr. Stroehlin had been employed as an Engineer with General Dynamics for
more than forty years retiring in 2006.
He enjoyed the outdoors, including astronomy and gardening, as well as
photography.
Mr. Stroehlin is survived by a son, Paul R. Stroehlin of Pittsfield, and a sister,
Annette M. Nardin and her husband, George, of Spring Hill, Florida.
He was pre-deceased by a daughter Kelli L. Stroehlin, who died April 1, 1993;
a brother, Girard Stroehlin, and a sister, Linda J. Wells.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Steven Paul Stroehlin will be held Tuesday, December 4,
at 2:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. William D. Furey officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in the Spring in East Windsor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Stroehlin may be made to Al-Anon in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
