Obituary for Stephen T. Curley

Stephen T. Curley, 54, a lifelong resident of Pittsfield, died Saturday, October 5,
2013, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on August 31, 1959, a son of Jeanne Zack Curley and the late
William R. Curley, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1977 graduate of Taconic High School.
Mr. Curley was a history buff, especially of the Civil War, and enjoyed watching
history shows. He also enjoyed movies and music, and following football, especially the Giants.
Besides his mother of Pittsfield, he leaves three sisters, Catherine J. Curley of
Lancaster, N.Y., Susan M. Giansiracusa, of Dalton, and Mary Ellen J. Artioli and her
husband, Kenneth, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a brother, James M. Curley, of Pittsfield; as
well as his nieces and nephews, Eduard Maryniak, Sean Curley, Sarah Curley, Steven
Giansiracusa, and Timothy Giansiracusa. He also leaves his very good friends John & Joanne Woodworth.
He was pre-deceased by a brother, William F. Curley, and a sister, Elizabeth A.
Curley, both late of Pittsfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Stephen T. Curley will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013, at
9:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with Rev. David E. Aufiero, parochial vicar at St. Mark Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
