Obituary for Stephen Albert Blanchard

Stephen Albert Blanchard, 59, of 771 Tyler Street, Pittsfield, died March 10, 2015, at his
home. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, on June 16, 1955, son of the late Edwin M. and Josephine M. Demick Blanchard, he attended Pittsfield High School.
Mr. Blanchard had been employed in Shipping and Receiving at England's Department
Store. He had been a communicant of Holy Family Church.
He enjoyed music and playing the guitar, as well as baseball and fishing.
Mr. Blanchard is survived by two sisters, Stephanie R. Dayton and her husband, Timothy,
of Pittsfield, and Mary C. Lighten and her husband, Henry, of Dalton; as well as four nephews,
Jeffrey, Anthony, Mickey, and Matthew, and three nieces, Andrea, Annemarie, and Julia-Jeane.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
A graveside service for Stephen A. Blanchard will be held at a later date at St. Joseph's
Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made
to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street,
Pittsfield.
