Obituary for Stephanie J. Pasquarelli (Mason)

Stephanie Jane (Mason) Pasquarelli, 55, of Pittsfield, passed away July 8, 2022 surrounded by her family at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield on January 20, 1967 to the late William R. Mason, Jr. and Ruthann E. (Croughwell) Mason.

Stephanie was a graduate of Taconic High School, Berkshire Community College and Walden University where she earned her Masters Degree in Nursing Informatics.

Stephanie was a Registered Nurse for many years, having worked at Fairview Hospital and Berkshire Medical Center. She enjoyed her profession so much that she carried on her legacy by teaching at Berkshire Community College and being an education specialist at the Fairview Hospital campus of Berkshire Medical Center later in her career. Stephanie touched the lives of so many people during her career both in education and in nursing.

Stephanie was the proud mother of her two sons Joseph and Jordan. They were her entire world and there is nothing she wouldn’t have done for either of them. Stephanie was their biggest supporter and would often times be on the side of any wrestling match or football game that her boys were playing in, cheering the loudest.

Stephanie liked to garden, enjoyed her times at the beach with friends, snuggling her forever kitten Dunkin, but most of all being with her family, whom she faithfully protected and loved fiercely.

She is survived by her two sons, Joseph E. Pasquarelli of Pittsfield and Jordan M. Pasquarelli and his wife Maria (Laureyns) of Pittsfield. She is also survived by her three sisters, Michelle Mason of Dalton, Melissa Canata and her husband Andrew of Lanesboro, and Melanie Conklin, and her husband Jody of Moorseville, NC. She also leaves behind her nieces, Kayla and Madison, and her nephews, Tyler and Mason, and countless other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and family members.

Stephanie’s family would like to especially thank the team at Berkshire Medical Center’s Critical Care Unit for their excellent care and compassion.
