Obituary for Sophia Lynn Crosby
SOPHIA LYNN CROSBY, daughter of John B. and Kimberly Malumphy
Crosby of 307 Pomeroy Avenue, Pittsfield, died at birth on Wednesday, December 31,
at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Besides her parents of Pittsfield, Sophia leaves her paternal grandparents Guy
and Sue Crosby of Adams, and Judy and Gary Dumas of Severn, Maryland; her maternal
grandmother, Kathleen Malumphy of Richmond; and her paternal great grandparents,
Hazel Crosby of Adams and Earline Johnson of Adams; and many loving aunts, uncles,
and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her maternal grandfather, William Malumphy; her
paternal great grandfathers, John Crosby and Byron Johnson; and her maternal great
grandparents, Lillian and John Kennedy and Ida and William Malumphy.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for SOPHIA LYNN CROSBY were private with burial in
the family plot in St. Patrick's Cemetery in West Stockbridge. There were no
calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sophia may be made
to Northern Berkshire Healthcare Maternity Unit Nursery in care of DERY FUNERAL
HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
