Obituary for Siali Sharlett Geoffrion

Siali (Sharlett) Geoffrion, 93, of Sugar Hill, Dalton, formerly of
Sunset Drive, Dalton died Friday, September 19, 2014 at home. Prior
to moving to Dalton in 1987, she had lived in Brewster for 14 years.
She was born in Pittsfield on May 20, 1921, the daughter of Joseph and
Letizia Tarasco Masengo and was educated in Pittsfield public schools.
Mrs. Geoffrion was primarily a homemaker. She oversaw the lunch
program at Sacred Heart School for ten years, and after moving to the
Cape was employed at Brewster Plastics. She loved her family, her
church, her friends, sailing with her husband, George, cooking
delicious meals, baking, and everything Italian. She was a lifelong
Notre Dame football fan
Her husband, George X. Geoffrion, whom she married September 7, 1946
at Mt. Carmel Church died December 18, 2005,
Mrs. Geoffrion is survived by three daughters, Nancy Paolillo and her
husband Leonard, of Brookline, Jean Joseph of Pittsfield, and Barbara
Gibson and her husband Tony, also of Pittsfield; six grandchildren,
Matthew Joseph and his wife Kim, Jenna Gallagher and her husband
Joseph, Megan Gibson, Michelle Passios and her husband, Jim, Kevin
Paolillo and his wife Molly, and Lisa Mahoney and her husband Max; a
sister, Elia Hargrave Patella of Lenox, fourteen great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Siali Geoffrion will be held Wednesday, September 24, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at
St. Agnes Church in Dalton celebrated by Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta. Burial will follow in
St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield.
Calling hours will also be on Wednesday at Dery Funeral Home in Pittsfield from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berkshire Visiting Nurse Association in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
