Shaun Michael Borden, 24, of 41 McArthur Street, Pittsfield, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on March 4, 1991, the son of Vincent Stracuzzi and Pamela Borden, he attended local schools.
Shaun had been employed as a mechanic for different family-owned garages. He enjoyed working alongside Papa Willie and Papa Stracuzzi.
Since Shaun could walk he enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, and snowmobiling. He was one of the most loving caring people and cherished his family, especially his best friend his Mom. He never ended a conversation with his family without saying "I love you". Growing up Shaun and his cousins were inseparable, he had a special bond with each of them as well as his brothers. Shaun leaves his mother, Pam Borden and her fiancé, Victor Torres, of Pittsfield; his father, Vincent Stracuzzi, of Pittsfield; two brothers, Anthony Stracuzzi and Victor Torres, Jr., both of Pittsfield; his maternal grandparents, William Borden and his fiancée, Donna Garrity of Pittsfield, and Elaine Borden of Pittsfield; his paternal grandfather, Vincent Stracuzzi of Lanesboro; his soulmate, Nichole Witherell of Pittsfield; four aunts, Christine Borden Bostick
and her husband, Elton, of Florence, S.C., Amy Borden of Pittsfield, Tammi Wallace and her husband Herman of Cuba, AL and Lisa Loehr and her husband, Todd, of Pittsfield; an uncle, William Borden, Jr., and his wife, Coya, of Pittsfield; and cousins, Justin, Jerel, Christopher, Brandon, Ce'riya, Victoria, and Andrea.
He was pre-deceased by his paternal grandmother, Cheryl Stracuzzi, and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Franklin.


FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Shaun Michael Borden will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 12 Noon at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with Rev. Margaret E. Lawson, Pastor of Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, officiating. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Shaun may be made to the Borden Family to help defray funeral expenses in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
