Obituary for Sandra Jean Maston

Sandra Jean Maston, 63, of 285 Cloverdale Street, Pittsfield, died Thursday, October 27,
2016, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on January 1, 1953, the daughter of Warren and Edith Sheraer Scace,
she was a 1971 graduate of Taconic High School.
Mrs. Maston was employed by Covanta where she was a bookkeeper for more than ten
years. She also managed the book store at Hancock Shaker Village for many years.
Being a homemaker and spending time with her family was Sandra's greatest love.
She liked to cook and watch "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy". She also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Florida, and was a Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Sandra leaves her husband, John E. Maston, whom she married in 2000.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Nora Czechowski of Pittsfield; brother-in-law, William J. Maston and Ann of Pittsfield; brother-in-law, Dennis M. Maston and Lisa of Dalton;
many nieces, nephews, and cousins; uncle, Edward Scace of Roswell, Georgia; uncle, Lee
Ketchum of Pittsfield; aunt, Louise Filkins of Pittsfield; cousin, Peter Manzolini and Marcia of
Pittsfield; cousin, Roger Manzolini and Pamela of Richmond; cousin, Charles Manzolini and Rose
of Vero Beach, Florida; as well as many other cousins; and her close friend, Debbie Oakes.


FUNERAL NOTICE:
Calling hours for Sandra Jean Maston will be held Monday, October 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal
Shelter in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
