Obituary for Sandra J. Goss
Sandra J. Goss, 70, of 240 Francis Avenue, Pittsfield, died Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Hinsdale, New Hampshire, on May 7, 1942, daughter of the late Robert
and Eva Rice Goss, Sandy was raised by her grandparents, and lived in The Berkshires
for the majority of her adult life.
Ms. Goss had worked at Burger King until she became a caregiver for her father
until his death in 1986.
Sandy was a member of The Christian Center, which she considered her second
home, and where she enjoyed spending time with the many friends she made there. She will also be missed by many people at BFAIR
Sandy loved animals. She always stopped to admire flowers, and looked forward
to the sunshine. She had a unique sense of humor and enjoyed being with people.
Ms. Goss is survived by her many close friends, including Miriam Williams, and
her friends at BFAIR, and her beloved dog, Mr. Spot.
She was predeceased by her partner of seventeen years, Wallace "Wally" White, who died in June 2007.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Sandra J. Goss will be held Friday, December 28, at 1:00
p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Sigmund Sadzinski officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sandy may be made to The Christian Center or to BFAIR both in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street,
Pittsfield.
