Obituary for Sally H. L'Hote

SALLY H. L'HOTE, 84, of 22 Garfield Street, Pittsfield, died Monday afternoon
at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Hatfield, Massachusetts, August 8, 1921, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Zywna, she was raised in Gill and was a 1940 graduate
of Greenfield High School. She was also a graduate of the former St. Luke Hospital
School of Nursing. Mrs. L'Hote had been employed as a licensed practical nurse at the former St.
Luke's Hospital and its successor Berkshire Medical Center for a combined 17 years. She had also worked at the former Young's Rest Home for nine years. From 1940 to 1942, she worked at General Electric Company.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church and was a member of
the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, picture puzzles, and walking her dog. Her husband, Robert E. L'Hote, whom she married in 1944, died July 13, 1993.
Mrs. L'Hote is survived by a son, Robert R. L'Hote of Pittsfield and two grand-
children. Another son, Richard J. L'Hote, died February 25, 1990.


FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for SALLY L. L'HOTE, who died Monday, July 17, will be
Thursday, July 20, at 11:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Gary M.Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 10:15. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. L'Hote may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Funeral
Home. Mrs. L'Hote leaves her grandson, Adam R. L'Hote and granddaughter Jacklyn
L'Hote and her beloved dog, Max.
