Obituary for Ruthann Plankey
Ruthann Plankey, 69, of Pittsfield, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Columbus Ohio, on November 7, 1946, the daughter of Frank and Ruth Meyer
Bilotta, she was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph Central High School.
Mrs. Plankey worked as an accountant.
She enjoyed crafts and ceramics, cooking, and tag sales.
Her husband, John P. Plankey, pre-deceased her.
Mrs. Plankey is survived by two daughters, Anne Plankey of Louisville, Kentucky and
Jamie Trie of Pittsfield; two sons, Robert M. Plankey of Lanesborough and John J. Plankey of
Louisville; two brothers, Francis "Chico" Bilotta of and John V. Bilotta of Hinsdale; and a
granddaughter, Eliza McKinney, of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
Calling hours for Ruthann Plankey will be held Sunday, November 22, from 1:00 to 3:00
p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to the American Cancer Society in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
