Ruth was born in Haverhill, Mass., on July 5, 1925. She was the adopted daughter of the late John and Minnie Robertson Brand of Worcester. She graduated from

Her husband, Harold R. Myers, whom she married April 26, 1952, died in February 1998.

having fun with the Camp Fire Girls group that she led for many years. She was a Berkshire County Chapter American Red Cross volunteer and had been honored for her 40 years of service. She very much enjoyed caring for people who donated at the blood
drives.

decessor Trinity United Methodist Church of Pittsfield. At church, she was a member of
the Chancel Choir, United Methodist Women, the Altar Guild, the Wednesday Morning
