Obituary for Rose A. Moore

ROSE ANGELA MOORE, 89, of 75 Briggs Avenue, Pittsfield, died Tuesday morning at Springside of Pittsfield where she had resided for the past three months.Born in Pittsfield, February 18, 1917, a daughter of Francesco and Angela M.
Iorio Pannesco, she attended schools in Pittsfield.
Primarily a homemaker, she, at one time, worked at the former Berkshire Coat
Factory. More recently, she was employed as a prep cook at the former Timothy's
Restaurant where she worked for ten years.
Mrs. Moore was a communicant of St. Charles Church. She enjoyed horse
racing, cooking, and was an accomplished seamstress.Her husband, Harry J. Moore, whom she married in June 1935, died September
15, 1967.Mrs. Moore is survived by a son, Robert H. Moore of Pittsfield; a daughter,
Gail A. Launt of Pittsfield; a sister, Phyllis Magnano of Pittsfield; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by two sons, Francis W. Moore and Gerald C. Moore.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for ROSE ANGELA MOORE, who died Tuesday, September
26, will be held Saturday, September 30, at 8:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME
with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., at St. Charles Church, celebrated by
Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor. Calling hours will be Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.,
at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Moore may
be made to St. Charles Church in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street,
Pittsfield.
Mrs. Moore leaves her son-in-law, John Launt, her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth
Moore; her seven grandchildren, Nadine Hiser, Robert Moore, Jr., Brian Moore, John
Launt, Jr., Jill Allessio, Glenn Moore, and Tracy Moore; and her eleven great grandchildren, Nicholas Moore, Jeffrey Hiser, Shelby Hiser, Brittany Moore, Crystal Moore,
Ryan Moore, Alex Allessio, Priscilla Jeri Lee, Amanda Moore, Angel Moore, and
Anthony Moore. She was pre-deceased by four sisters, Antoineete Reardon, Angela
Buckley, Josephine Furlong, and Concetta Pannesco, and a brother, Peter Pannesco.
