He married Doris Jean Soult on November 6, 1954 at St. Peter’s Reformed Church in Frackville, PA. She predeceased him on November 13, 2011.

Three grandchildren, Anthony Gubelman and wife Crystal, Matthew Gubelman and wife Kim, and Kelsey Trumbull. Three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Zoe, and Austin. He also leaves his two sisters, Bea Kupiec of FL and Nancy Levesque of Adams.

The family would like to thank the special caregivers at Craneville Place, who were very kind and compassionate to him. The family also asks that in his memory, you take a walk outside, lend a hand when you are able, and tell a corny joke and laugh out loud at the end.

Per his wishes there will be no services. Burial will be held at a later date in Ashuelot Cemetery. Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
