Rodney S. Jones, Jr., 24, of 24 Crosier Avenue, Pittsfield, died Wednesday, April
3, 2013, in Pittsfield.
Born in Peekskill, New York, on November 21, 1988, the son of Rodney S. Jones, Sr. and Lisa L. Rhodes-Jenkins, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and attended Taconic High School.
Rodney loved being a "Dad", and spending time with his family and friends.
He also enjoyed watching sports on TV, video games, and music.
Rodney leaves his mother, Lisa L. Rhodes-Jenkins and her husband, Dwayne, of
Pittsfield; and his father, Rodney S. Jones, Sr., of Peekskill, New York. He also leaves his fiancée, Shaunna E. Latini and their son, Nyrell S. Jones, of Pittsfield; three brothers, Jayce J. Jones, Joshua M. Jones, and Elijah T. Jones, all of Pittsfield; a sister, Shashanna P. Jones of North Carolina; his maternal grandparents, Ella L. Smythe-Brown of Peekskill, N.Y. and Dock Brown, Jr., of West Virginia; his maternal great grandmother, Helen J. Holland of Shelbyville, Tenn.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Rodney S. Jones, Jr., will be held Monday, April 8, 2013, at
12:00 Noon at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Sigmund Sadzinski officiating.
Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service
beginning at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
Nyrell S. Jones Trust Fund in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street,
Pittsfield.
