Obituary for Robert K. Riddell

Robert Kenneth Riddell, 63, of 56 Franklin Street, Dalton, died Friday, March 11, 2016, at
his home. Born in Adams on November 6, 1952, the son of Norman A. and Phyllis Brandon Riddell,
he was a graduate of Wahconah Regional High School and Berkshire Community College.
Mr. Riddell was employed by Crane & Company, Inc., where he was a papermaker for
37 years before retiring in 2010.
He was a member of the Dalton Lions Club and had been a recipient of the Melvin Jones
award. Mr. Riddell leaves his wife, the former Janet Groat, whom he married September 6, 1974.
He is also survived by two daughters, Shana Collins and her husband, Jay, of Dalton, and
Rebecca Mazzeo and her husband, Dan, of Pittsfield; a brother, David Riddell, and three grand-
children, Everett, Sadie, and Valentina.





FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Robert Kenneth Riddell will be held Tuesday, March 15, at 11:00 a.m., at First Congregational Church of Dalton with Rev. Quentin Chin officiating. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL
HOME in Dalton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the A.L.S. Association or to
the Dalton Lions Club, both in care of the Funeral Home, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
