Obituary for Robert J. Lavelle
Robert J. Lavelle, 87, of Pittsfield, MA passed away December 20, 2020. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 28, 1933 to the late Wilbur and Ellen Larkin Lavelle.
Mr. Lavelle was a graduate of Carrick High school in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and served during the Korean War.
Mr. Lavelle married the former Rose Small in May of 1960. She predeceased him on February 8, 2006.
He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration and was a senior level Radar Technician.
Survivors include his children, Patrick Lavelle and wife Janice, Allen Lavelle and wife Rosie, Diana Hadsell and husband Keith and Dawn Paterson-Astore and husband Michael. He will be missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
