Obituary for Robert Janes

ROBERT 'SKIP' JANES, 33, of Pittsfield, died Sunday evening at Berkshire Medical Center.Born in Santa Barbara, California, September 18, 1973, the son of Robert Kelly and the late Marlene E. Turner Kelly, he was a 1993 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School.
For the past seven years, Mr. Janes had owned and operated Skip's Landscaping.
Most recently, he was employed as Service Manager for Mace's Marine. He enjoyed outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing, and snowmobiling.
Besides his father, Mr. Janes is survived by a brother, John Kelly of Oswego,
New York.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for ROBERT 'SKIP' JANES, who died Sunday, July 22, will be held Wednesday, July 25, at 5:30 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Arthur E.
Kaufman, Chaplain at Berkshire Medical Center, officiating. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Janes may be made to the American
Cancer Society in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
Mr. Janes is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Roger and Marilyn Rand of
Becket, a cousin, Christina Rand of Becket, a niece, Summer Rand of Becket, his girl-
friend, Tabitha VanDeusen and her children, Brianna and Devon of Dalton; his close
friends, Jim and Pat DeLorenzo and many other friends.
