Obituary for Robert E. Goodell
Robert Eugene Goodell, 74, of 135 Robbins Avenue, Pittsfield, MA died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 27, 1940 in Berlin, New York a son of the late Earl and Hazel Schnopp Goodell. He attended schools in Haverhill and Williamstown, Massachusetts. Mr. Goodell had been employed for the Berkshire Eagle; he also had worked as a baker at Dunkin Donuts. Mr. Goodell also had many side jobs over the years. He enjoyed going to the casinos as well as fishing and hunting. He leaves his wife the former Mary J. Daniels whom he married October 8, 1989. A son, William Goodell. Three daughters, Kimberly, Melinda and Jeanne Goodell. A stepson, Joseph Bishop and a stepdaughter, Dawn Bishop. A brother Larry Goodell and a sister, Jean Floyd. 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Robert Goodell and three brothers, Raymond, David and Thomas Goodell.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorials in his memory may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA. 01201 which is handling arrangements.
