Robert “Bob” E. Duzlak, 74 of Hinsdale, passed away March 2, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Pittsfield on July 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Zullo Duzlak. He was a 1965 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Bob married the former Linda Blake on October 14, 1967 in Pittsfield. They shared 54 years of marriage.
He was a quality control inspector at General Electric and General Dynamics for 38 years. He then worked for Pinkerton Security as a security guard at General Dynamics.
Bob was a race car driver for many years at Lebanon Valley Speedway. He then passed the torch to both of his sons and got great satisfaction watching his boys succeed in the sport that they all loved. Bob also loved tinkering on cars and building motors.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Blake Duzlak of Hinsdale; son, Robert Duzlak, Jr., and wife Lisa of Sioux Falls, SD; daughter, Carollee Duzlak-Hilton of Concord, NC; and son, Richard Duzlak and wife Jennifer of Hinsdale. Two grandchildren, Cole Hilton and Chloe Duzlak, both of NC.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will be held, THURSDAY, March 10, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 E. Main St. Dalton. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph Cemetery.
