Obituary for Richard Lang
Richard Lang, 68, passed away March 28th after a long illness. Richard (11/14/1948) lived in Great Barrington until he graduated from high school in 1966 and returned to live there from 2010 until his death. He resided at the home of Sandy and Peter Hirbour next door to his childhood home at 39 Prospect St.
He served in the Navy from 1967 until 1970 and from 1978 until 1986.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Georgette and Peter Lang of Great Barrington, and survived by his sister, Patricia (Lang) Gray of Seattle, WA.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
At Richard's request there will be no funeral services. Burial will take place at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery in Great Barrington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Soldier On in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield which is handling arrangements.
He served in the Navy from 1967 until 1970 and from 1978 until 1986.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Georgette and Peter Lang of Great Barrington, and survived by his sister, Patricia (Lang) Gray of Seattle, WA.
