Obituary for Richard D. Kordek

RICHARD D. KORDEK, 66, of 99 Second Street, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, died
Tuesday, January 3, at his home.
Born in New Britain, Connecticut, October 25, 1941, a son of Jean Prachniak
Kordek and the late Boleslaw Kordek, he was educated in Connecticut schools and was a
1959 graduate of Plainville (Connecticut) High School. Mr. Kordek was a self-employed laborer.
Besides his mother of Plainville, Connecticut, he is survived by a brother,
Carl Kordek of North Haven, Connecticut; four sisters, Anita Kordek, Jeri Kordek, and
Margaret Grabeck all of Plainville, Connecticut, and Sandra Hayes of Port St. Lucie,
Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for RICHARD D. KORDEK, who died Thursday, January 3,
will be Tuesday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Plainville,
Connecticut. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Plainville. Mr. Kordek also leaves his sister-in-law, Kathleen McLaughlin Kordek and his two brothers-in-law; Joseph Hayes and Bernard Grabeck. The
DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA 01201 is in charge of arrangements.
