Dick,s spirit and humor is well known . My connection to Dick is our shared interest in cartoons and the Cartoon Bridge in lower valley off route 8 near our childhood homes. Blank walls are a well known challenge to youngsters. As teenagers, at different times and motives, we marked those walls with oil based paints and our favorite life size images for all to enjoy. Last summer, 2015, at the urging of some, about 30 folks assisted in the restoration and new installation of Minions, Daffy Duck and others.
